George Bush the elder publicly pronounced their guilt and the Justice Department proceeded to file federal charges against them. That was "Double Jeopardy" from day one. We got those type of Civil Rights laws because of we couldn't get a Southern Jury to convict KKK types. It was used against those officers. Bad Law. Same thing is going on now with the "Rico" act, which was passed to get gangsters, and is used now anytime a DA wants to. They are also using the "Patriot" bank account laws to go after non-terrorist cases. Give a DA an inch, and he will take a mile.
