Bush deserves no more "slack". He had a 2.5 year holiday from criticism, much of it after 9-11 and then nine months lead-up time to the war which was intended to and did drown out the economic and other issues during the mid-term elections. In essence, the war plans were started right before the elections to steal them, and that they did, including attacks on the patriotism of war hero Max Cleland.

This country is in crisis. We are the most chaotic foreign policy ever, a terribly costly war with no end in sight and no endgame plan, despite the growth spurt and market pop, no real economic health on the horizon, millions of lost jobs, hugde new debt, a fallen dollar and every domestic and social area damaged and/or forgotten. No progress on health care, degradations on education and the environment, a 100% politicized administration which feeds us propaganda rather than facts and solutions. It's time for a change not for more "slack". Bush has slacked for long enough and now needs to be held accountable. Bush can look back after four years and boast about two wars, but those wars have not made us much safer, if at all, especially Iraq. On every other issue, Bush has been more or less a failure.

I also don't like the way they're gearing up to steal the 2004 election with a combination of rigged voting machines and 200 million dollars in disinformation ads.

Time frames and hypocrisy: The dems, left, and Eurocrites gave the UN Inspectors 12 years, during which the UN failed to complete its work. Now they complain when the Bush Administration couldn't make up for those 12 failed years in 6 months. LOL.

Carolyn, Remember all those Hollywood types that threatened to leave the country if GWB was elected. The recent posts from AS stating how horrible GWB is and what he has done to the country might suggest that an AS departure from the good old USA is imminent. <g>
