So if Jesse Jackson and some North Korean flunkies come up with another package whereby we pay North Korea some more billions for their promise to stop building nukes, you would think that is democratic too? a "constructive alternative" as you put it? Our democracy involves a representative government. In a representative government, the people give the authority of government to their elected representatives, not just anybody who puts himself forward. You really do seem unclear on the concept.
