What is "entitlement spending"? Tell me one "entitlement" which hasn't been paid for already by the recipient taking it out of worker's paychecks. That's no entitlement, it's an insurance policy you pay for. And if it wasn't popular and sensible it wouldn't be there. If it wasn't there we'd have a huge permanent crisis with millions going broke or dying without any health services, not to mention millions of unemployed stuck with making nothing between jobs and going personally bankrupt, even homeless if they can't find a new job quickly.

The only entitlement I'm aware of that isn't paid for by the recipient is the money they give handicapped people who are unable to work. You want to cut that?
