Not quite right RtS. Based on Friday's close:

30 INTC @ $30.95 = $988.50
22 TXN @ $28.92 = $636.24

Total is $1624. 100 SMH is $4165
INTC and TXN total about 39% of SMH.

Also, your link is old, pre-split AMAT.
AMAT now has 26 shares in 100 SMH.
Almost the same weight as TXN.

When I go to

and add up the numbers, I come up with 138 at the bottom line. I only did the addition once, but am I right. If so, INTC and TXM would be 52/138. or about 38 percent.
