I think(but am not sure) that there have always been farm subsidies but this amount seems completely out of control. No that I am surprised mind you. Bush is mayor Daley of national politics. He extorted all of this money from California in "fines" for not doing this or that, and now that we have a republican in office, voila- the WH is here to help!!! No chance of anybody buying into it so if they want to waste yet more money have at it.
