AS, Re: If this is a pattern of sophisticated fraud it has to be stopped or we lose our democracy. Very very big issue no matter what party you're in, I tend to disagree. When I examine the dirty tricks and attitude of Republican operatives like Karl Rove ("Bush's Brain") or Frank Luntz (http://www.luntzspeak.com/memo.html ewg.org bc.edu what really impresses me is the completely amoral nature of the quest for power and money. The current leadership of the Republican Party is nothing like the best of the breed, such as was represented by Lincoln, Teddy Roosevelt or Nelson Rockefeller. This present crop is vulgar, venal and vile. And they are mean. The truth is the first victim of this present Administration.
