Wayne,

You don't disappoint. Your reply is just what I'd expect from someone who, like Bush, is completely unrecognizable as a statesman, a leader of people or a concerned citizen.

It really is all about money, power, unfair advantage and venal grasping for the GHP (the Gross Hypocrisy Party) isn't it?

He doesn't. I posted a post some time back on some thread which broke down how much states paid to DC in all forms, and how much they get back in return. California gets back something like 78 cents for every dollar we send to DC. I know NY is even lower, and I think the other states worse than us are all in the NE. On the other hand, the top state, I think Nebraska, gets something like $1.41 for every buck they send.

Bush will probably try and get some mileage from California's catastrophe, much as he did out of 9/11. The guys a born opportunist. If he can use federal money to butter up voters in Florida and California, you can bet he'll do it.

If I were Bush I wouldn't help them either.

right. Even if it takes down the whole country. Most adults get over this type of "ideology" at age 14.
