Bush is only a 48% approval rating. That means he is vulnerable. Republicans think the 7% GDP is some kind of resounding alarm that the economy will pick up, but I don't think too many of them have experience reading economic forecasts. Once you dig into the numbers, it wasn't just tax cuts but yet more FEDERAL SPENDING (on the war machine) that caused the blip. So more of the same next year, I say Bush is a goner, mostly on his pathetic handling of the economy.
