I draw my own conclusions. Always have. If you recall way back on the Don't Start the War thread and the Stop the War thread, many of us were writing exactly what would happen in the aftermath. That's why the current policy won't win the peace. And it can very reasonably be argued that a war is not won if your soldiers are still being killed and becoming casualties in large numbers. And ain't that sadly what's happening. If there's any delusion its rests firmly among those who brought us into this mess. And, yes, it's a mess. A sad and tragic mess, one certainly not worthy of trumpeting.
