My previous hopes of seeing a $3 stock are deflating as I think more about dilution. I don't know that Carl has a history of buying successful growth companies, and at 33 with what I assume is little experience, I don't know that our CEO is likely to pick a great company to buy.

If selling all the assets would net SH $2 or more, how can the BOD justify a purchase that would cause dilution and a resulting share price under the value of $2/sh?

Or maybe I'm underestimating the acumen of the Powers That Be and the announcement of a merger will cause the share price to soar over $2/sh and the price of new shares to exceed $2?

Any thoughts on what will happen? Any historical examples out there?
