Christian pacifists as the enemy. We've seen comments that treat American Christians in the loyal opposition as the enemy. The rationale behind this, to the extent that there is one, is because they give aid and comfort to the enemy. I submit that our home-grown counterparts to the Islamists, the "Christian soldiers," are also the enemy for the same reason.

I am reading this paragraph and scratching my head, Karen.

I see "Christian pacifists" as fools. "Turn the other cheek" only works with non criminals. They get away with their viewpoint only because they live in a society that makes sure there are enough rational people around to stop the criminals who would prey on them otherwise.

Osama has spoken at length about his belief that Americans were cowards who would never come after him in force. It is one of the main reasons for 911. He saw us back away in Somilia, The Cole, Lebanon, the Embassy bombings, etc, and believed we didn't have any "Christian Soldiers."

This whole concept of "Oh, don't say anything bad about the terrorists, you will only get them mad at us," is dangerous nonsense, IMO. A meek approach is exactly what will encourage them.
