I take a different approach: until there's full disclosure, guilt must be assumed. There's no other way to conduct public policy. Anything kept secret inevitably leads to (a)incompetence, (b)criminality, or (c)both.

Information on public companies and public monies belongs to the public. The only exception should be bona fide military secrets, of which there are almost none.
