Perhaps, this tells more about the audience then about the speaker. Bush has to sell his points to a population which tends to be critical and outspoken. OBL appeals to people who perceive the world in terms like whether or not it is in accordance of what (they think) Allah would see as preferable. His actual and wannabe followers are not truly realistic, in the modern sense of the word.

And yet, George Bush is the President of the US, albeit elected by doubters - and OBL is an outcast and a caveman. I respectfully submit that if both were liars (and I don't think that Bush is), than - somehow - Bush would have to be considered to be a better one... g/ng.
