Tonite, I watched as the Iraqis were dancing, jubilant at the death of American soldiers. It reminded me so much of the Palestinians who become jubilant whenever an Israeli dies. So, do you now impute that attitude to every Iraqi? An aircraft is shot down on the outskirts of Baghdad and 20 Saddam supporters show up to celebrate, and you think this represents the views of the Iraqi people? As I said, you're pretty shallow. After the copter crash, there was an American soldier crawling on his knees, partially in flames..........not one Iraqi bothered to help him. The truth is you don't care about the Iraqis......you clearly don't have a clue how they think, and you certainly don't care how many Americans get killed over there. What you do care about are the successful implementation of neocon policies and the viability of your president. And you call me shallow! There is no question that the Iraqi people, at large, want us there. This is not a subject that there can even be an intelligent debate about, because it is a known, indisputable fact. Who told you this crock of sh*t? There is every question as to whether the Iraqis want us there. In fact, polls show that they want us to leave. These comparisons with Vietnam and now Palestine are simply reflective of the ignorance of those making the comparisons. Our good fortune is that we have great people like Bush, Rice, Powell, Rumsfeld, and Wolfowitz around to run the show. Iraq is quickly becoming a quagmire with no clear exit strategy; in that way, it is like Vietnam. And there is nothing great about Bush, Rice et al.......they have gotten us into a bad mess and they clearly do not know what to do about it but to blame others.BTW, did you catch Wolfowitz's speech this week? Man, he shut those young liberals up nicely! What speech.....and who did he shut up? And why doesn't he pick on someone his own age?
