hello jay, i talked to a biz contact in china tonight. he said although he did not know about the government's "announced" intention to slow bank loans, it made sense to him. he said from his vantage point real estate and real estate loans are getting white hot. he did not say it is out of control, but it does not feel right. he has his own biz, and is doing well. his bank buddies have been hassling him for years to borrow big money, but he does not need to. he said the pressure to borrow from banks for companies who don't need to borrow is still there.
