As I said, I came to grow disaffected with Bush only as he fumbled every issue. I still recall some heated family debates where I defended GWB "give him a chance, with his father's advisors he'll do ok" --I said. Well, I gave him the chance and he flunked. Look at the casualty list in Iraq. Not keeping the rank and file of the Iraqi army on the payroll, as they had been promised, was another amateurish mistake. Now you have a bunch of idle, young muslims with military training and access to weapons. A recipe for disaster, just as things have unfolded. In sum, I don't like the way Bush gets us into quagmires without the least amount of planning. You, on the other hand, seem to like a fumbling president, as far as I can remember. To each their own, I guess...
