Huh? Bush IS Totally isolationist. He had gone into Iraq without international backing, he has scoffed at every international treaty, especially envirnomental. Talk about being isolated, W is right at the top. Calling half of Europe "old world" is NOT the way to "win friends and influence people." Or saying "my god is better than your god." Yes, he didn't say it, let me fire the ones that did.

Each and every casualty is a tragedy, and to any mom or dad all it takes is one casualty to ruin their world, but I think that you are wrong. If anything it was a surprise at how FEW casualties we took getting to Baghdad, so of course casualties now look even worse. Think about history.

Here is just one example:

British---July 1, 1916 Battle on the Somme---19,240 KIA--57,470 total casualties.

One day.

Not the same thing as today, granted, but bottom line is if Americans are going to continue to be benevolent to other nations, we will lose more soldiers in wars.

WHY NOT RATHER THROW YOUR SUPPORT BEHIND THEM FOR ALL YOUR WORTH, AND LET'S GET THE IRAQ GOVERNMENT IN PLACE AND GET THESE TERRORISTS IN A HOLE IN THE GROUND?
