Not necessarily. It would need a good publicity campaign. And a consensus of a critical mass of opinion makers. I wouldn't presume to suggest how those should proceed. But I think that a few soap opera role models would reach the target audience. So would Oprah. The major problem would be countering the impact of contrary voices. The discussion between Neo and me on childlessness comes to mind. There would be a lot of dissenting voices. Don't know if O'Reilly could be brought on board. <g> If some influential men could make it cool to have vasectomies...

Then there could be financial incentives. Free or low cost birth control would help.

If I were a billionaire, this is where I would put my effort and resources.
