Abortion is a non issue. To play to the issue politically is a waste of time & energy. The Supreme Court decided Roe v Wade not Congress.

For DEMS to battle with the abortion issue is allowing the Hard Right to take energy away from issues that politicians can actually do something about. The Right wants to engage the DEMS on this issue -- so that they can tell themselves that they are somehow morally superior in the final analysis. Its nothing more then that.

Abortion will NEVER be outlawed. How is that for certainty.

You are the one that is confused. Abortion is not a left or a right issue. It's a personal decision about whether to raise a child. That decision is never about your politics.

rpcc.org

It's usually about other issues like employment, health, family and others.

There are cultures that are a lot less prosperous than ours, whose women have virtually no equality to men and in which murdering babies as America murders them is viewed as the epitome of wickedness.

Abortion is known all over the world by many cultures. Procedures vary, but the choice is never made in the way that you describe. There is no culture anywhere on the planet where choice is allowed, where women would not take advantage of it.

You are wrong about any political party endorsing murder. Those are your words and they are not representative of how most people feel about ending a pregnancy. Abortion is not murder. The supreme court has ruled that it is not murder. Same as they ruled that Bush is the president.
