actually, I'm in Michigan, and have visited Canada a number of times. Most there would not trade places and live in the US. They like it there. Also - you can go around Toronto at night - and not be so afraid of getting shot. Try that in American cities. There are good and bad things in both countries. I don't think they are socialistic, but they do believe in more of a safety net - which I completely agree with. That is not socialism - just being smart and humane (and having a civilization)
