That's because they're forced to build them here, in order to sell to our market. How about TVs, microwaves, refrigerators, ovens, etc.? How about steel production? I'm sure BMW would prefer to build cars in China, where costs are much lower than here. And soon, they may be able to. Globalization is irreversible. Production always goes to the lowest cost producer. Of course, we will continue to be the lowest cost producer of weapons of mass destruction. With WMD, we can always get what we want. I hope your kids like working for McDonalds, mine are not going to enjoy it.
