In my brief life I have witnessed legions of people who stood aside when they should have stood up for principles. Here, here. I'm going to have to pick up a copy of animal farm for review. BTW, I wonder how many of us have censored our thoughts in light of today's environment? I ask myself which I fear more: the terrorists, or my govt's powers unchecked. Then wonder how it can be I would ask such a thing. Oops, did I say that out loud? The emperor has a fine suit.

Whitepine couldn't agree with you more. "Democracy is little more than an legal arena for the special interests to rule. At this moment, the PC-crowd controls the game. Little matter the promise of democratic theory." Rush Limbaugh was hammered for comments he made. Yet comments by Louis Farakhan (excuse if I mispelled), Reggie White, Dusty Baker and others are brushed off. The voices of a few have more power that the quiet masses. Today's culture is controlled by the idiots at MTV. I still have a picture in my head of a concert that some rapper named 50 cents had. There were pre-teen girls at the concert singing things that I won't even mention here. Yes most responsibility lies with the parents, but it is hard to control everything your child sees when there are so many avenues for them to get information now. Children are exposed to too much information too fast these days. And many of the whores of Hollywood and MTV have no problem putting out trash, polluting young minds.
