So far, our standard of living is fine. Is slippage inevitable? No, not when there is plenty of GDP growth here in the United States. Our relative wealth, which is sustained partially through low cost imports and the propensity of foreigners to invest and bank here, means that there is constant churning for new and improved ideas to take to market.
