"He is not there to conquer the world but to get rid of the terrorist threat to civilian in US and outside (including Canada)."

What terrorist threat to Canada? There is no hatred of Canada. It wouldn't make sense for "them" to attack to create the hatred.

that may end terrorism once and for all

That's breathtakingly naive. I wish it weren't, I wish there was some magic (or sacrifice or application of force or goodness or whatever it took) that would end terrorism, but the reality is, it is and will continue to be seen by some as a tool to achieve political ends. The Boer (sp?) war, Vietnam, Ireland, India, Quebec (the FLQ), Chechnya... A long and unhappy history (see eurunion.org

All it requires is a complete disdain for the value of the lives of those targetted, and it's aided by a lack of concern for one's own life on the part of the terrorist (or perhaps more accurately, a willingness to lay one's life down for a deeply held belief or cause).

I don't know what the answer to this (new to us on home territory) threat is, but there isn't one that will 'solve' terrorism.

As to try not to insult on personal level people whom we choose as our representatives you're right, that goes nowhere fast. OTOH, it might seem insulting to some, just maybe, for you to tell Canadians they're beneficiaries of US welfare by virtue of providing higher levels of exports than they consume in imports.
