Message 19462541 Most Christians in the world are liberal thinkers. I know this from growing up with them. Only the Religious right has taken Jesus and his teachings in a political right direction. True Christians were marching with Martin Luther King, against the Vietnam War and recently against this war. Bush's own Methodist Church vocally opposed his unilateral invasion. In Houston, my parents Methodist church is the biggest in town. They oppose Bush's policies including Faith-Based, and Iraq. The entire male part of the choir is made up gay men who are so good they cut records. There is no prejudice there. Deep in the heart of Texas. The black churches are also largely opposed to the neocons. Whew! New phase: She's retreated and wrapped herself in religion.
