Yes. I happen to agree with you. Though I do not think that any free country can protect against terror 100%, without becoming essentially un-free.

So while I would not say "Why did you not protect us from attack?", I would say "Why did you go out of your way to play into the hands of a bunch of militant fundamentalist type thinkers, for no very good reason?" I would hold Bush guilty for part two, and not part one.
