I'm sure you have a link

Yeh, to gallup's site.

So then are you a member, t-brain? If so, link to the poll. If not, then don't post about something you don't know.

When you have a crisis situation, you micro manage it until its out of crisis.

Actually, a competent president doesn't "micromanage" anything (Clinton did, however). A competent president sets broad policy objectives and tells the military, "Handle it, I'll give you everything you need to get the job done". Which is what Bush has done.

First off, we are not talking about Bush 'cause the guy isn't competent. Secondly, I said that micromanagement is required in a crisis, and not all the time.

aI'm not sure a "crisis situation" describes what is happening in Iraq. Certainly, it is a war, and in wars people get killed. But progress is being made daily in returning the Iraqi people to normal lives.

You're a fool. We are not in a war.......the war ended in May. This is civil disobedience/guerilla insurgency that is growing in strength with each passing day. Its become a crisis and your president doesn't know how to handle it.

These are just issues you and I disagree on. It is my belief that wars often solve problems, as this one is. A year from now, things will be different. The progress that has been made in the last six months is nothing short of staggering.

Violence rarely solves anything. Toppling Saddam is the best you're going to get out of this mess.
