RtS & all, just hearing that EMKR sold it's MOCVD equipment to VECO - looks like VECO is the sector consolidator here.. In recent weeks there was much M&A activity in the compound semicondctor equipment field. Largely unnoticed Oxford Instruments (OXIG.L) acquired Thermo Electron's VG Semicon division doing the rival processing technology called MBE.. seems the market is narrowing down to : VECO, MKSI, VSEA, Aixtron, Oxford Instruments, Riber are you aware of any other contenders here ? Is SMTL a contender ?? rgrds CROSSY
