I would say the Dean confederate remark is yet another nail in his coffin as a potential nominee. He's not 100% in control of his mouth and he's really given Bush some doozies to use against him later. Not even right-wing Bush would come out and say he's for anyone flying the confederate flag. He maks other gaffes, but not that kind.
