No, Kerry made the correct remark about the NAACP.
Remember, Dean had just been endorsed by Jesse Jackson's son, then went out and said he wanted to court confederate flag voters. Kerry nailed him on his attempt to try to add blacks to his voter base. Expect to hear it in the next debate. Blacks are a crucial part of the nomination vote and Dean cannot win without them.
