The Z510 handset is small and discreet, with an attractive design. Due to its compact dimensions (83 mm x 43 mm x 20 mm) and its weight of just 78 grams (battery included), it fits easily into a pocket or handbag. The keyboard is very user-friendly, while the high-quality LCD main screen (128 x 128 pixels, 4 shades of grey) and can display up to 8 rows of characters. On the outside lid, there is a secondary LCD screen that can display 2 rows of characters. The first row shows the signal and battery indicators, while the second indicates the hour and the phone number or the name of the caller. In addition, the Z510 handset has an animated graphic interface, polyphonic ringing tones (20 polyphonic tunes, 16 channels), an agenda with 200 locations of 3 phone numbers each, and an e-mail address, as well as the possibility of recording voice messages. The Z510 phone has a range of useful functions, including calculator, chronometer, alarm. time around the globe, fast dial, vibrating ringer, distinctive tone for various callers and two games. The Li-Ion battery can sustain up to 120 minutes of conversation and up to 215 hours in stand-by. With Z510, it is easy and fast to send SMS messages, due to the possibility of predictive text introduction (T9 - available both in Romanian and English). The lists of distribution (SMS Group) facilitate sending the same written message to several addressees at the same time. The phone has incorporated a high-speed modem for surfing the Internet. Zapp is the only mobile telephony operator in Romania that provides completely integrated communication services, developed over a last-generation network (CDMA2000 in the 450 MHz band). CDMA is one of the most advanced wireless technologies worldwide, developed and commercially exploited by the American telecommunications company QUALCOMM.  Zapp’s main shareholder is Inquam Limited, an international company that specialises in providing services for the mobile communications network. The significant shareholders in Inquam are QUALCOMM, a leader on the market of digital products and services based on the CDMA technology, and Omnia Holdings Ltd, an investment fund based in the Middle East, which manages investments exceeding $100 bn around the globe.
