Let's take as true that The Gorilla Game works. That it presents a sustainable arbitrage opportunity in the broad market.

Even at its finest the gorilla game could never be an arbitrage opportunity, which involves the simultaneous purchase and sale of equivalents. Plenty of arbitrage opportunities can and do exist in the markets, especially where equivalent products are traded in multiple places.

I think an underlying premise for the Gorilla Game is that it is slower paced than many of the more nimble players on Wall Street are willing to play. A Gorilla stock may from time to time present a clear play with some quick profits, but usually it is just a steady winnowing of competitors.
