Its was the Supreme Ct. that decided that election, and not the Electoral College. First time the SC decided an election, and how did that happen? Ole Bushie, a states' rights advocate, went running to the SC at the first sign of trouble. What a simplistic and idiotic response. The Supreme Court said dem-controlled Florida canvassers couldn't change the rules to favor their guy in the middle of an election. Btw, it was a Democrat Florida judge, Judge Sander Saul, who got it right. The Supreme Court decides cases of first impression as a normal part of its duties. That's what it does for a living. Trust me, when I tell you, he is not my president. Even Gore and Lieberman were better losers than you, and they weren't that great.
