the only point I am trying to make is : "watch/listen before passing judgement".

But you need knowledge to make a proper judgement. Those who are quite knowledgeable about Reagan & his career - whether pro or con - could watch and pass judgment over the program, even assuming it turned out to be the hatchet job it promised to be. But what about someone too young to remember Reagan, who has no particular knowledge of the period? On what basis could he judge?
