Surely women have always had reproductive rights over their own bodies. Abortion allows them an additional unnatural right: the right to destroy the bodies of other humans. Reproductive rights end at a woman’s body and they do not include the murder of a child. You’re for less government and more personal responsibility-- which is a good thing, no doubt. But that sentiment is quite meaningless in the face of abortion. Abortion is now federalized, you see. This means it is now endorsed by American government as an innate human right. There is no such thing as less government here. Today people of conscience (almost all of which are social conservatives) are being forced by the left to support the slaughter of children via the American government. Not only is there no natural right to murder children, there is also no natural right to force anyone else to support that which is contrary to their own nature. Yet this is precisely what federalized abortion does. It is a double sin against humanity – against your nature and mine – against us. You may not have had to directly make the decision to abort, but when you support the double sin I have mentioned above, the blood of children remains yet philosophically on your two hands. The left sins against all humanity each time it defends the right to murder a child, and lest one thinks abortion does not murder a child, the truth stands ever before us mttu.com . We ought to face it squarely - without the speciousness now typical of the left. Such speciousness includes two common liberal claims you have made here at least by implication: 1. that taking a position against abortion requires one to ‘force a woman to carry a birth even if it will kill her,’ and 2. that opinions such as mine are "narrow," and thus lacking in intellectual suppleness and sophistication. The first false claim is dispatched simply. If two people are bound together by rope and thrown into the sea, no natural law proscribes our cutting the rope to save at least one of them. The second claim requires we put aside magical and futile religious notions as “the soul,” and “personhood” because such things simply do not exist for you and I as a unit. They may exist for you and not me, or vice versa, but not for “us.” They are magical, religious, and not found in nature. If we are going to make law, we must base the law upon nature, which is where we exist objectively. What is objectively found in nature is the logical organics of man, his pure biological presence. This is objectively apparent and is the foundation of our identity in nature. We know that this logical human “bioidentity” is first present at conception. Where human biological character is concerned, this is as narrow as it gets. So my opinion on abortion, indeed on all things human, is most logically rooted in this objective human biological identity. All things flow from and are bound by it. If one takes a broader view, as you do, then one obviously does not, contrary to popular belief, act with sophistication. One instead acts in ignorance of human fundamental identity in nature. That is how animals live. Forcing law without consideration of fundamental human bioidentity is to actually see the first instance of man and then intentionally turn from it so that anyone may destroy it. This is abortion – a barbaric and intentional ignorance of what we are so that we may destroy instances of ourselves. The millions of child murders resulting of abortion are ultimately not the most heinous aspect of this crime against humanity. It is the intentional ignorance at the foundation of these murders that I find so nauseating. It would be much better were humans simply to murder children while acknowledging their wickedness, than to murder them with “moral” approval. There is at least some hope when one knows one is wicked. We unsophisticated people on the right, we social conservative cavemen, are the people of life. We are the moral conscience, the salt of this earth. It is for this reason that the left hates us. They are eager to procede unchallenged in intentional ignorance of human identity so that they may corrupt it when they think convenient. We unsophisticated ogres persist against them, forcing the truth of human life and characater ever against their penchant for death. We, not they, pronounce the truth they clearly see and that blinds them. Despite all our faults, our foibles and weaknesses, we point to the truth consistently – and we have always done it. We, and not they, hold human life in high esteem, cherishing the Creator Who makes life possible. Our consciences, not theirs, are fully intact-- accusing us and excusing us as should be. We are more human than they, despite ourselves. So no one who thinks abortion is murder ought to flinch at all before the left’s false sophistication. The left ardently ridicules us, but we ought not respect their views at all. Here is the horrifying proof of it mttu.com .
