Any doubts now about what I said then? Go back and reread the crap that you posted to me at the time:

If you weren't so desperate to score some cheap rhetorical points, you would've read closely enough to realize that my critique of your commentary didn't apply to what you wrote in June per se, but rather how what you wrote in June appeared to contradict what you'd written a short while before.

In June, you wrote that you expect the body count to reach 1,000 sometime in 2004, on account of a casualty rate of three per day. Three months before that, you suggested that the body count would reach 10,000 before Bush threw in the towel. The way that you phrased the latter comment, it seemed to reflect a belief that this point would be reached prior to the 2004 election. You then clarified in a reply that this wasn't the case.

That's right. If Bush is reelected, I think he will continue to send the troops in. As the fighting intensifies, 10,000 over a 4 year period is only about a half dozen per day....I guess the reason you didn't understand my posts is because you thought I was implying that Bush would throw in the towel next year. No, I don't expect that. I expect other American government officials to throw in the towel, either late next year or during the next administration.

Whether you were being honest here about what you sought to conote through your March comment is something that only you know. But either way, you clearly understood what I was trying to argue at the time. Yet somehow, in the midst of pursuing your neverending quest to satisfy your insatiable ego, you seem to have forgotten it. I can't say that I find such behavior on your part to be surprising. Honestly.
