Cooters, I recall that the standard licensing arrangement between QCOM and the Chinese manufacturers covers all products using any of the CDMA patents owned by QCOM. QCOM has a reknowned legal staff that has covered all the bases. Rob's views are just that--a collection of opinions from questionable sources, and without much credibility. Very likely he's short on QCOM and long on NOK.

The fact remains that QCOM is the only company guaranteed to collect revenue from whatever form of CDMA technology is used, in whatever nation, and from whatever manufacturer or distributor.
