I referred back to the Gorilla Game that contained the Gorilla and while the Gorilla itself showed good returns over the period, the returns from the game as played by the rules were less spectacular.

A portfolio underperforming its best component is a consequence of diversification. The portfolio also outperformed its worst.

What remains to be seen is how the gorilla performs over the next 5-10 years, now that it has become established. Only then can we determine how well the Front Office GG performed.

...you should also have concluded that there is absolutely no evidence to support the notion that the Gorilla Game works either!

That is my conclusion and I believe that has been my consistent position. It is you who have been claiming (quite loudly) that the GG is invalid despite the fact that the evidence is incomplete.

... you should be criticizing anyone you find who supports the Gorilla Game!

I don't believe I am in a position to be criticizing anybody. Especially not on the basis of flawed data.

I'm not trying to say that Gorillas aren't profitable investments. I'm just making the point that the Gorilla Game isn't obviously worth playing.

I agree 100%. However, I don't see why you feel the need to browbeat a group of people who freely chose to play the game anyway. What's it to you (tough guy ;)?
