Siemens TD-SCDMA Handset License--
I am sure that the license will terminate or be impared if Siemens enters into a CDMA joint research/info exchange agreement with an avowed infringer like Datung. It is QCOM that
develops the license agreement language--not Siemens.

My email correspondence today with Bill Davidson, Qualcomm IR.

My Question:

Re: QUALCOMM and Siemens Modify Existing Licensing Agreement -- August 26, 2002 qualcomm.com

In the above press release, it is not clear to me that Siemens has agreed to pay royalties for TD-SCDMA handsets. Can you tell me if the agreement with Siemens specifically covers royalties on TD-SCDMA handsets?

His Answer:

Indeed it does.
