Yep, the only way Economic Reality is going to be known by Joe Public is if it comes up and bites him (or his neighbor) on the ass - in the form of a layoff, declining wages, inflation, or credit cutoffs. I remain hopeful that the truth becomes too obvious to ignore before the 2004 election. This country can't handle too many more $500B deficit transfers to corporate America in the name of the economy. Sooner or later those checks are going to come back stamped "NSF". BC
