Humankind's inability to keep "their britches up" is a story that's as old as the oldest hill in creation. Changing the laws in your favor will only boost the number of unwanted, unloved and screwed up kids. Just what the world needs more of. I guess from a christian (male) perspective, putting women back in their place as wife/daughter/childbearer is a good thing.

Like I said, if you want to tell other people what to do and how to live, then you suffer the consequences. No abortions, fine. You and people that believe what you believe about abortion, put your names on a list, and legally adapt and raise all the unwanted children. Otherwise, you have no credibility with me. I don't particularly like abortions, but I'm not willing to raise an unwanted child. And I don't want someone else telling me how to live or what to do, so I mind my own business and keep quiet about this issue.
