Do you think aparthied in South Africa and the separation of Palestinians and Israelis has similarities -- or do you simply refer to the lack of voting rights?

The territories are not in Israel, and until recently were under the control of the PA, not Israel. Do you favor annexation?

There are one million Arabs in Israel, who are citizens, who do vote, who do have Arab MKs representing them, who have political parties and can join the Army if they wish. The Arabs are not drafted but the Bedouin often volunteer. The Druze are drafted; there is a three-star Druze general in the IDF. Your statements are factually incorrect.

The condition of minorities inside Israel may not be perfect, but it sure beats the heck out of the position of minorities anywhere else in the Middle East. A person who was trying to be fair might note that the perpetual efforts of the neighbors to wipe out Israel has a natural deleterious effect upon the condition of Arabs in Israel and on their status as full citizens. An excuse that the Egyptians cannot offer when asked to explain their horrific treatment of the 15% to 20% of the Egyptian population who are Coptic Christians.

But the Egyptians never are asked to explain their treatement of the Copts - why is this, Jacob?
