My point exactly. If the turks are worried they need to play. Of course a three state solution is on the table for theorists if not yet for the neocons. 2/3 of a loaf is better than none and if you could pull bagdad out of the triangle and control the western region its more like 4/5. mike

Isolate and defeat the baathists.
Pump iraqi oil and along with russian production break the back of the cartel
Fix saudi arabia
Impose a peace settlement Israel/Palestine
Israel Syria peace treaty finally
Syria out of lebanon
Neuter Hizbolah or at least redirect their energy to more positive pursuits.
