Well, the real puzzling aspect of the BHP buyout is why the market viewed it so favorably. IVN shoots up 19% on the news on volume of about 3 million shares. Yesterday it declined 6% on 4 million shares, but I'm sure once the stock price started to drop, investors from the previous day wanted to lock in a good portion of the 19% gain. Wouldn't you?

So, are you basically saying that the investors who drove the stock up by the 19% two days ago were stupid and completely misunderstood the press release?
