It's interesting you mentioned WMD claims, Bush, and Clinton in the same post. The Bush story on WMD's was the same as the Clinton story. Both Bill and Hillary Clinton have said so numerous times. Here's one recent example:

"The intelligence from Bush 1 to Clinton to Bush 2 was consistent" in concluding Saddam had chemical and biological weapons and was trying to develop a nuclear capability, Clinton said this morning. And Saddam's expulsion of weapons inspectors and "the behavior" of his regime "pointed to a continuing effort" to produce WMD, she added.
The senator said she did her own "due diligence" by attending classified briefings on Capitol Hill and at the White House and Pentagon and also by consulting national security officials from the Clinton administration whom she trusts. "To a person, they all agreed with the consensus of the intelligence" that Saddam had WMD.

Hey, you want to hear something else interesting - during the last Presidential campaign Gore promised to bring about regime change in Iraq if elected President. It's kind of hard to remember things like that these days.

The joint statement issued by Vice President Gore and the INC following the meeting confirmed the shared objective of regime change in Iraq as the only means of freeing Iraqis from their long-endured hardships, promoting democratic institutions and practices, and integrating Iraq into the world community.

Wow, "only means" ... "promoting democratic institutions". Almost sounds like one of those "neofascist" neocons there, doesn't he.

You forgot the cherry on top - being caught in blatant lies then denying he ever lied.

Which means that Bush thinks his audience is incredibly stupid. Given how many voters still believe the lies, I can't blame him.
