Re:ESPR's ApoA-1 Milano

On the first page of the Miami Herald today there is an article from Rob Stein of the Washington Post Service entitled "New 'Good' Cholesterol Can Unclog Arteries" in which it quotes Dr. Steve Nissen saying "when the statistics were delivered to me I fell off my chair". "We've ran across something that can literally clear out the plaque in just a few weeks. That's unprecedented."

The article also quotes a comment from Dr. Daniel Rader, who wrote the editorial on the JAMA: "This is the first true test of the concept that significantly targeting HDL can impact plaque and atherosclerosis in humans."

BTW ESPR opened on a $4 up-gap this morning and is presently trading at $22.39(up 27.14% and enough to be placed on Nigel's Thread.) albeit it still is $2 below its October 30 H of $24.80 <g>
