You may be right, but the Kurds are doing very well now, they are working hand in hand with the Americans and I suspect trust us a great deal more now then before. I would think if we sternly warned Turkey against any shenanigans with the Kurds and assured the Kurds we would assist them if any such thing occurred it could be worked out. Finally, if it were my decision I would ONLY accept the Turks if they agreed to be deployed SOUTH of the Kurdish area. My brother served alongside Turkish troops in S. Korea during the "police action" and based upon what he had to say about the Turks I would LOVE to turn them loose against the Terrorists and Baathist troublemakers. jdn
