Picking out one line of Clinton's again misses the big picture. You dont start a huge unilateral war with no end-game plan unless the enemy is about to attack you. Saddam was not an imminent threat. Clinton bombed Saddam but was in no rush to start a war, and he was right. The Iraq War as Bush conducted it was a collosal mistake. There can be no debating that now. Kerry for instance would have done it smart, taken his time and made sure we won the peace afterward with the minimum amount of expense an casualties. John McCain said last week that for the first time Iraq reminded hm of Vietnam, and McCain has always supported Bush on the war until now.
