Hi Harry:

SCMR started a breakout today on both the daily and weekly. It needs some volume tomorrow to confirm.

I actually plan on keeping some shares for more than a quick trade. The company has over $3.4 of book value (cash, a/r, s/t inv, l/t inv (inv i used are all us gov't securites not investments in co's) less a/p & s/t liab) and they only need to start selling product. They are supposed to have won a portion of a defense department contract.

look @ the monthly base.

Fujifilm to raise CD media prices

Echoing a decision by Memorex, Fuji Photo Film U.S.A. plans to raise prices for CD-R and CD-RW media. The company on Thursday is expected to announce a 10 percent to 15 percent increase on CD-R and CD-RW media prices, effective January. Over the past year, production costs for petroleum-based plastics used to make CDs as well as transportation costs to deliver products to warehouse and retail facilities have continued to rise, the company said. Fujifilm said it has absorbed cost increases until now.

"We regret the necessity to raise prices, but Fujifilm is now forced to bow to the same pressure our competitors have faced in order to maintain a high-quality product," said Steve Solomon, general manager of the computer products division at Fuji Photo Film U.S.A.

[Harry: Need to keep on eye on this see if they can make it stick. It is a reflection on a lot of types of high tech consumer demand (music, software, entertainment) , yet is a commodity product.]
